Walking to the train station a few weeks ago, I stumbled past a little garage with a very familiar looking car nestled inside…so I went in for a closer look.
I remembered seeing one of these in a commercial for an internet radio player or something…The guy was driving one through the office and I always remembered how awesome that “little old car” was.
Some time later I saw the car in one of the Gran Turismo games and discovered that it was an Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT (could they have picked a longer name???)
Something about this car really pops for me. I’m sure in stock trim it handles like a drunk horse, but the styling is just awesome even with those plain-jane steel wheels.
After a few minutes I could tell the owner was getting a little irritated so I said my arigato’s and got on my way.
Hopefully I can get off my ass more often and bring you guys more random “Spotted!” posts, as stumbling upon little gems like this is a common thing here in Tokyo.
