So the Friday before Christmas I was lucky enough to get invited to tag along on a little RWB track day with Aaron Mai from Maiham-Media.com, Nakai-san, and a couple of his friends/customers. If you ever hear the words Tsukuba Circuit and RWB in the same sentence, you should immediately yell “I’m down!!!”. I did, and it definitely paid off.

We arrived at RWB around 8am but the doors were still closed…not a Porsche or a soul in sight. After a few coffee’s and destroying the “facilities” at the local 7/11, we finally passed enough time to see the garage door open and this in the driveway.

She was a bit dusty and dirty but I was sure Nakai-San would enlist one of us lesser men to do his dirty work eventually.

But I was wrong. He did it. With a hose. And a bucket of soap.

This is what Nakai-San will be driving to Tsukuba. Its a cabriolet for starters. It also has an automatic trans, and heated seats…I guess you don’t have to be a cold-assed guy with a sore left leg to drive an RWB Porsche after all. Hey, if the weather’s nice, you can even throw the top down. More details on this car will be coming soon…

Its always a good idea to change your oil before going to the track. Nakai-san does it, so should you.

Fresh Oil. Done.

We then headed off to the Parking Area to meet up with a few other RWB Owners. It was a little empty at first but after a few minutes, the Porsche’s started rolling in.

I cant really find anything to say here

I’m loving the RS style paint scheme and the tidy little whale tail. I also learned, the little kid in the passenger seat can say his ABC’s. Kudo’s to you young man.

A Ferrari F430 even showed up, but with competition like the mulitple RWB Porsches…he didn’t get much attention.

I’m not that into Ferrari’s or knowledgeable about their aftermarket aero manufacturers..but the GT wing and adjustable rear diffuser looked pretty sweet.

A very clean and lightly tuned 996.

Tic Tac Toe.

Time to head to Tsukuba!
Stay tuned as I”m still working out a way to organize and post the heaps of footage from Tsukuba. There will definitely be a part2 and possibly a part3

Hey man, nice shots, how’d that lens work for yah?
Lovin photo #8
Its a good lens KCK, I was mostly interested in it because of its zoom range. But in the right hands, its an awesome lens! I still live by: “fancy gear wont make fancy photos”
And Slappy, hopefully if we get a wallpaper section up soon, I can make that one a wallpaper.
Yes the whole site will be changing, and a wall paper section will be had
