This year I wanted to make my way to Nikko Circuit for some sort of event. I got a Facebook message from my friend Naoki Satou, telling me about the N-Style 白煙フェスティバル ( White Smoke Festival ). He and a few of his friends would be participating at the event in the ” E ” class. I knew I couldn’t pass this event up even with relentless rain in the forecast. If you don’t already know, Satou-san and his friends all rock those 1980’s styled Toyotas we dearly love and they know how to use them.
Fortunately enough my other friend Yousuke Suga was planning to go so we decided to collaborate on a video for the event. Leaving my house at 2:30 AM we met up and headed to Saitama to meet Satou-san and his friends enroute to Nikko Circuit. Weather looked like it would hold but mother nature decided to play games with us all day. The main focus of this visit was to film and make a collaboration video but I managed to grab a few shots in between classes.
I was amazed the turnover of AE86s with a couple AE70’s also. It was great fun watching their class run as their screaming 4AGEs was quite the symphony. Well enjoy the photos.
Satou-san Levin is a battle ready machine.
This AE70 presence was jaw-dropping. Every bodyline was straight as an arrow and combine that with it’s stance just made me … well …. wish it was mine. Don’t be fooled though, this car was out drifting with the rest of the crew in the ‘E’ class and also exercising it’s suspension on the last corner jump ( or first corner when they go in reverse).
N-Style’s infamously converted S15 sporting the BMW E46 front end, is always an eye catcher. Many people have mixed reviews on this car but I personally like it because it’s done correctly. The guys at N-Style know how to modify a car. Also Not a show queen as this was tearing it up on the track. You’ll see in the video in the works.
