The last weekend I went to northern Italy to cover the biggest Grassroots Drifting Event in whole year! Almost 30 Pro and Amateur drivers joined the competition in Castelletto di Branduzzo. It was a mix of European and Japanese cars. There was a large amount of Silvias and Bimmers, officially the most used drifting cars here in Italy.
The battles amongst Pro and Amateur drivers was epic, different driving techniques compared in different cars setups. It was amazing how all drivers had shown the wish of reach the final battle and how they pushed over their limits!
Between the Pro driver I’ve seen Filippo Pirini, in my opinion the most talented Italian drifter, driving his powerful MX5 Turbo Miata. During the whole day, Filippo shown his ripness and his ability driving the shortest wheelbase car, reaching the final round and winning the competition.
I think it was a great weekend in the “KEEP DRIFTING FUN” way! I have to thanks WM organization and all friends who supported Jyuroku.com
