One thing I love most about being in Japan is the ability to find even the so called “normal” cars look clean with a sense of style to them. This is why at some organized event like TAS, the parking lot can be more interesting that the show inside.
Yesterday, I met up with Youichiro-san since he wanted to pick up some JyuRoku decals. We met on Route 16 to do the transaction from the back of my X-trail like some sort of black market deal. He was driving his, as he stated, “family car” and when asked asked if I could grab some photos he laughed; it’s “normal” he said.
I guess this is a good example of what normal to one is not necessarily normal to others.
