So after a long day of teaching I set my brain into cruise control and go home. So after arriving at my home station I walk to my bike which is parked in the public free parking area with hundreds of other bikes. I jump on my bike and and hammer my foot on the pedal and noticed I’m the pedals are moving but I’m not. With a sigh I look down notice the chain has been taken off the gears.
Not that it’s a huge problem, geezz I’m a mechanic, so I pop it back on , pissed off and go home. I try and think how could it come off by accident … i don’t know.
I eventually forget about it when I get home and see the family but the next day I remember and tell my wife. She said it was probably a “Cheet”; I guess they are like pranksters who like to see people have a hard time. They usually steal bike seats according to my wife.
So I’m thinking about making a sigh in Japanese / English saying “touch my bike and I will punch you”. Except for the bike parking guys .. those guys are good because they usually move bikes around to help me find a parking spot. Good chaps they are. To the rest of you DON’T TOUCH MY BIKE!
Sorry for the grammer and lack of sense … I’m angry.
