What is JyuRoku ?
JyuRoku was created by Chad MacLean after arriving in Japan in 2008. It was a personal blog titled ‘FindingJDM’ and sole purpose was to act as a timeline of Chad’s stay in Japan. However coming a mechanical background and having a love for anything Automotive, he started to attend events and get back into photography.
After meeting Zack in 2010, events were more common and then finally Chad decided to change the blog name to ‘JyuRoku’. Since then we have been building a team on like minded, talented people such as our Italian photographer Giorgio whom joined in 2012.
Why JyuRoku ?
JyuRoku (ジュウロク) literally translates to 16. It comes from the National Route 16 (国道16号) which connects Saitama, Tokyo and Kanagawa. This means that travelling on this route is quite common when getting to events.
